The 4 Truths takes us where Nirvana is. When we see that we have been asleep all along, we awaken to the Self. This disillusionment of not knowing who we are, we realize that our sense of Self is not an illusion from who we are, but from what we thought of our self to be. This Self is the truth that we hold as who we are knowing of. Hidden away, we finally realize and come to recognize the Self that we have found. The Knower welcomes us home.
Meditation is not a conquest or achievement – it is a homecoming. It is not about going somewhere – it is just falling back into yourself.
While we are gone away, we find that the time the it takes to come home — the homecoming we are hoping for, finds us. When we are struggling to see things as they really are, we feel and believe we are lost. But, in finding the time to sit and be still, the longing that we feel, subsides, and we come home at last.
